Panel Filters⁽⁹¹⁾

Panel filters are air filters used primarily in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as in industrial processes and clean rooms. They are designed to filter particles such as dust, dirt, pollen, bacteria and other contaminants from the air. Panel filters are used as pre-filters in multi-stage air handling units to improve air quality and ensure the efficiency of their systems.

A panel filter usually consists of a frame (usually cardboard, plastic or metal) onto which a filtration material is placed. The filtration material can vary depending on the type of filter, but is usually a combination of synthetic fiber, steel wire, fiberglass or Activated carbon. These filtration materials have a certain density and structure that traps particles or contaminants in the air while allowing airflow to pass through.
